2014 WSBK – Sepang Results

The first ever World Superbike round in Malaysia offered a plenty of drama including both factory Kawasaki riders crashing out on the first lap, a red flagged second race and an overall impressive outing by Aprilia. Under pressure for his lack of results so far this season, Marco Melandri impressed, earning the double for his first career wins on the RSV4 Factory. Aprilia riders led every lap in both races at Sepang, including the red-flagged initial start for Race 2, with Sylvain Guintoli joining his teammate on the podium with a pair of second-place finishes.

Here's a pic from inside the Ducati factory in Bologna. These Ducati 1199R Panigales are destined for the USA; the bikes are being shipped to Texas for the 1199R launch at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA). The picture above reminds me of the picture on the right, which was one of the first wallpapers I had on my PC way back in 1997.

Limited edition model priced at $68,000 As we expected earlier this week, Ducati kicked off its 2023 World Premičre series with a limited edition Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini model. This marks the second tie-in between the two Volkswagen Group brands, following the Diavel Lamborghini model in 2021. Ducati will produce 630 units of the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini in the Verde Citrea/Arancio Dac color scheme with matching Arancio Dac red brake calipers that matches one of the paint options for the Lamborghini Huracán STO.
