Ducati Superbike description

2012 Ducati Superbike 848 EVO, Like new 848 EVO for sale in Atlanta area. Put 4K miles on bike via recreational riding. Purchased from BMW/Ducati of Atlanta. Bike comes with $3700 custom Termiglioni exhaust system. FIrst service performed at 1500 miles. No problems, never been down. Mirrors and lower body panel have been custom paint dipped to match for rock protection (can be removed if desired). I'll include stock exhaust as well if purchase at my asking price. Pretty firm on price due to $3500 exhaust. You won't find any new bikes with these modifications at this price so I would high recommend saving money and buying used, low mileage like this bike. Reason I'm selling is that I need to buy a truck so bikes gotta go.. $12,850.00 7133855158

The motorcycle is based on the 1988 Ducati 750 Sport. The previous owner bought it in the mid-1990s to ride on the track, but after the first Sunday race, he parked the bike in the garage for several years for some reason.

So that's why he's called RANDY de Puniet

Tue, 20 Jul 2010

RANDY de Puniet may well have just been ejected from his LCR Honda RC212V MotoGP racer during qualifying for Sunday's Sachsenring GP but that ain't gonna stop him from bringing one of the company perks with him to Dr Costa's on-circuit surgery. The Frenchman crashed during qualifying after hitting oil and water spilled on track by Jorge Lorenzo's Fiat Yamaha, after it spewed its guts along almost the entire length of the start finished straight. Following the crash De Puniet was whisked away on a stretcher with a suspected broken foot.
