Bike was originally purchased from AMS and all service and TSB's have been performed by them. The bike was maintained by AMS while I was in overseas for 2 years for work. Wed, 02 Jun 2010Take one Ducati Desmosedici 200+hp engine and put it into a super lightweight NCR chassis and you’ll quite possibly have the world’s fastest and most powerful motorcycle. At 145kg dry weight it’s lighter (even) than a MotoGP bike… The 989cc V4 produces a staggering 200hp @13.800rpm and 116Nm @10.500rpm. We’re going to have a chat with Michele Poggipolini of NCR about this bike, but we strongly suspect it’s a one off special.
Carlos Checa Tests Superbike-Spec 2013 Ducati 1199 Panigale at World Ducati Week
Thu, 21 Jun 2012Revellers at 2012 World Ducati Week got a surprise treat with defending World Superbike Champion Carlos Checa completing an unscheduled test of the WSBK-spec Ducati 1199 Panigale. The Althea Ducati racer has ridden the production version of the Panigale but this marked his first test of the WSBK-spec version. His maiden ride of the WSBK Panigale was supposed to take place at Mugello but instead Checa and Ducati decided to give the Ducatisti a treat at the Misano circuit for WDW.

Tue, 21 Apr 2020Italian motorcycle manufacturers are gradually returning from forced downtime. Ducati was the first to resume production of bikes. The Italian authorities have announced the so-called second phase of the return to normal life program, which begins on May 4 and involves the launch of a number of enterprises.
