Ducati Superbike description
Bike purchased by original owner in summer of 2012, then purchased by me in the summer of 2014 with 3,100 miles on it. Bike is paid off with clean title in hand. Bike has never been down. Tires have about 35% life left on them. Master cylinder has been replaced under warranty at Ducati Seattle in summer of 2015. The bike has a full Termignoni system installed (stock exhaust on hand and comes with this sale). The Termignoni System was purchased off a different crashed bike and thus has a small scrape on the right side exhaust can underneath side. Aftermarket parts include heated handgrips, tail tidy, and battery tender wiring. When parked, the bike is ALWAYS on rear stand with battery tender plugged in. Open Letter from Ducati CEO About Italian Earthquakes
Tue, 12 Jun 2012Ducati Chief Executive Officer Gabriele Del Torchio has released an open letter addressing the recent earthquakes in Italy, and how they have affected the company. The Emilia region in northern Italy was hit by a 6.0-magnitude earthquake on May 20 and has continued to suffer from aftershocks including a second earthquake on May 29 that briefly halted production at Ducati‘s Bologna factory. In the letter, del Torchio writes about those who have lost their homes in the disasters and expresses thanks for fundraising efforts to help those in need.
Ducati Recalls Monster 1100 EVO for Cracked Spokes
Fri, 02 Mar 2012Ducati is recalling the 2011-2012 Monster 1100 EVO because of potential cracks developing on the rear wheel spokes. The affected units have rear wheels labeled “DU6-RR“. Rims with the code “DU6N-RR” are not included in the recall campaign.
