Ducati Superbike tech info
Ducati Superbike description
Hi Everyone,
Up for sale is a 2011 Ducati 848 EVO with less than 1900 miles! The bike works 100% and needs absolutely nothing. This is expected since it has barely been broken in. It is practically a brand new bike. Not only is this the EVO, but it has hundreds of dollars in aftermarket carbon fiber. The bike is fantastic looking. Absolutely everything works exactly as it should. I will gladly take it to a Ducati mechanic and have them go through it for any serious buyers (of course you would pay for the inspection). Always stored indoors. Carbon Fiber Add Ons Termignoni Half System Integrated Rear LED Blinkers There are only a few small cosmetic issues with the bike that were caused by a fall while stored inside. This bike was never dropped/crashed on the rode. In storage it tipped over and caused some fairings damage (only a small portion cracked, right side) and the front fairing stay cracked (the aluminum piece the mirrors and front fairing attach too). These DO NOT need to be repaired, they are strictly cosmetic and do not affect the bike at all. Fix them, or don't. Doesn't matter. The fixes can be done for a couple hundred bucks. Or the parts can be completely replaced for a little more. If I replaced them then this bike would look fresh off the dealer floor. This way you get a bike for a little cheaper and if you want to fix them you can. Feel free to message with any questions. I own half a dozen Ducati's so I can assure you none get neglected. |

Ducati Targeting Aprilia Racing Manager Gigi Dall’Igna
Wed, 09 Oct 2013Ducati has reportedly signed Aprilia Racing manager Gigi Dall’Igna to take control of its struggling MotoGP program. Neither Ducati Corse or Aprilia Racing have confirmed the reports, but several sources in the European motorsports press such as Motociclismo.it, not to mention a tweet from retired World Superbike Champion Max Biaggi, claim the deal is done. Dall’Igna has been an instrumental figure in Aprilia’s racing success since the manufacturer’s return to WSBK racing with the RSV4 in 2009, helping guide Biaggi to two championships and, pending the result of the 2013 season finale at Jerez, likely three manufacturers titles.
The future. But we can't have it
Thu, 10 Nov 2011It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.

The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli.
