2010 Ducati Superbike 848, Listed is a 2010 Ducati 848 with 6034 miles. It is pearl white with a red belly pan, which makes it one of a kind. The bike has been garage kept and ridden mostly on country roads and short trips around town. It has never seen the track and has never been laid down. All service on the bike is up to date and the gas tank was recently replaced by the factory as part of a manufacturer recall. The few modifications are Rizoma bar ends and grips, Rizoma brake lever, smoked windscreen and superpole seat. It also has leads installed for a battery tender and will come with a Ducati motorcycle cover. I also have an extra rear shock that was purchased by never installed that I would be willing to negotiate on. I'm selling the bike because I do not have time to ride it anymore and I just don't want it sitting here. Someone else should be enjoying this beauty. Bayliss Retires from Motorcycle Testing
Tue, 26 Jun 2012Retired World Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss announced he is retiring once again, this time from his duties as a test rider for Ducati. Bayliss, who retried from racing after winning his third WSBK title in 2008, had been working with Ducati, most notably as a test rider for the Ducati 1199 Panigale. Bayliss tweeted (@TroyBaylisstic) his intention to no longer test on June 23, just hours after beating Valentino Rossi in the finals of the Diavel drag race at World Ducati Week 2012.
Satellite Ducati Team Reveals Desmosedici GP12 Specs
Fri, 20 Jan 2012Ducati continues to be tight-lipped about the 2012 edition of its Desmosedici MotoGP race bike, but specifications have finally emerged, thanks to satellite rider Karel Abraham and the Cardion AB satellite team. As a satellite entry, Cardion AB and Abraham won’t have the latest updates to the Desmosedici the factory team has access to, but the Czech team’s announcement reveals some of the basis behind the final machine riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden will ride. The Czech team revealed on its official webpage its Ducati Desmosedici GP12 will produce around 250 hp from its 999cc engine.
Bruce Willis Auctioning Motorcycles to Benefit Active and Retired Military
