Tons of extras, all tastefully done.  Bike needs nothing and is in excellent close to showroom condition.  Has always been garaged and never dropped.

All maintenance done and up to date.  Valves were checked and adjusted and belts replaced.  Coolant flushed, spark plugs replaced, oil changed, brake/clutch fluid flushed as well.

The fuel tank is a year old and was replaced by Ducati under warranty.  It was sent out by the dealer and received a mil-spec coating on the inside and has a lifetime guarantee to prevent the ethanol in gasonline from expanding the tank.

Tires are Pirelli SuperCorsa's and have about 65% tread left.  If Buy it now you will get a brand new set of tires.  Either Pirelli SuperCorsa's or Dunlop Q3's, your choice.  If another is desired just let me know.

All carbon fiber on the bike is top quality and you can tell when you see it.

The S model comes with forged aluminum wheels and Ohlins suspension.

Bayliss and Marinelli Part Two: Technical Features of the 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale [Video]

Thu, 24 Nov 2011

A couple of days ago, we shared a fun video featuring three-time World Superbike Champ Troy Bayliss and Ernesto Marinelli, head of Ducati’s superbike program talking about the new 1199 Panigale. While that video was cute with some entertaining interaction between the two long-time collaborators, it was rather light on information about Ducati’s latest superbike. Today, we have a second, lengthier video featuring Marinelli and Bayless offering a more technical look at the Ducati 1199 Panigale.

Mystic Mac's 2014 MotoGP predictions

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

There is no real off season in Moto GP.  Although we complain about being starved of racing, for those at the sharp end, in little more than two months they have new bikes to assemble, team staff to put in place and sponsors to nail down that will pay for it all.  This time frame is also tight for riders, as it seems more every year go straight under the surgeon’s knife after the last round and spend the short winter recuperating for the season ahead. The 2014 Moto GP championship looks like a cracker as apart from the ten full factory riders we now have at least eight non factory riders with properly competitive machinery.  We also have five Brits on the grid, two with podium potential.  Whatever happens though (providing you have BT Sport) you can just sit back and enjoy watching the incredible Marc Marquez do things that shouldn’t be possible. Speaking of whom, I didn’t believe a Rossi replacement would come this soon.  And when I say replacement, I mean a rider that is the full package.  Although in some ways quite different to Vale, he’s an equally phenomenal talent plus a very likeable character that appeals to the masses and although respectful to his rivals off track, deadly competitive in the heat of battle.  Being young and good looking he’s obviously a dream for sponsors and the sport in general.  Marquez has evolved in his own way but thankfully into a perfect replacement for our sport when the VR steps down.

Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results

Fri, 01 Nov 2013

Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
