Ducati Superbike description

2008 Ducati Superbike 1098 S, 2008 Ducati 1098S, Red, 5950 miles. The bike has a Graves Carbon Fiber exhaust, Piazzo adjustable levers, Rizoma grips, adjustable rear sets, Ducati Performance dry clutch cover, Ducati OEM carbon fiber heat shield, Ducati OEM carbon fiber trans cover, Ducati OEM carbon fiber rear fender, battery tender hook up, -1 front +2 rear sprocket, and low profile tinted windscreen. Stock parts included with the bike are: sprockets, exhaust, grips, and levers as well as rear sets. Bike has the stock fender and blinkers on it, but I do have the fender eliminator and LED rear turn signals as well as low profile mirrors with integrated LED turn signals. 7,500 mile service was done at 5600 miles at Scottsdale Ducati which included belt replacement, valve check, oil and filter change, spark plug replacement, throttle reset and chain lube. Brake and clutch fluid flush was also performed. Coolant change is due as well, and I have 3 quarts of Motul coolant to go with the bike. I also have a helmet and a Pitbull rear stand available to go with the bike. $12,500.00

Rossi Reveals Ducati Desmosedici GP12

Valentino Rossi has released the first photograph of the factory Ducati Desmosedici GP12 ahead of the MotoGP pre-season test at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. The Doctor and Ducati teammate Nicky Hayden will test the GP12 alongside the other MotoGP teams and their race bikes this week to prepare for the upcoming 2012 season. The GP12 is said to be made of 90% new components, including an aluminum frame, a conventional design for most MotoGP teams but new for Ducati coming off of the ultimately unsuccessful carbon monocoque design.

Bayliss Beats Rossi in World Ducati Week Diavel Drag Race

Former World Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss out-dueled MotoGP star Valentino Rossi in a highly-anticipated showdown to win the Diavel drag race on the Misano Circuit‘s starting straight as part of World Ducati Week 2012 celebrations. Bayliss and Rossi faced off in the final round after getting through the preliminary rounds which also featured Rossi’s MotoGP teammate Nicky Hayden, reigning WSBK Champion Carlos Checa, Jakub Smrz, Sylvain Guintoli, Niccolò Canepa and Lorenzo Zanetti. The final between the two multiple-time World Champions saw Bayliss getting off to a clean start while Rossi’s Diavel wheelied off the ground a couple of times.
