Ducati Superbike description

2012 Ducati Superbike 848 EVO, Bike has carbon fiber Termignoni slip ons. Has never been down and never been in rain. There are scratches (see picture) on the left side farring from a rub on a high curb in a parking garage. Farring is not cracked or damaged in any way besides these scratches which are purely cosmetic. This incident happened almost immediately upon buying the bike and I never fixed it because quite frankly it didn't bother me. The rest of the bike is flawless. All services are up to date and bike has been impeccably maintained. When not being used the bike sits in a closed garage under a cover. Bike also comes with Pit Bull rear stand. This is my 4th Ducati Superbike and my favorite of all. Unfortunately, the wife and I are cutting back on expenses and I am sellling 3 of my 4 bikes. 2013 Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Dolomites’ Peak Edition Revealed

(Update: Ducati has clarified the Dolomites’ Peak Edition is just a one-off created for Wrooom.) Ducati has revealed a one-off variant of its Multistrada 1200 S Pikes Peak Edition as part of the Wrooom 2013 celebrations at Italy’s Madonna di Campiglio ski resort. With the mountains of northeast Italy as the backdrop, MotoGP factory riders Andrea Dovizioso and Nicky Hayden pulled the covers of the new Multistrada 1200 S Dolomites’ Peak Edition. The Dolomite’s Peak Edition is essentially the same as the Pikes Peak Edition, a replica of the Ducati Multistrada S that won the motorcycle class races at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb three years in a row.

Valentino Rossi‘s career is full of many incredible moments but few are as indelible as the move he made to pass Casey Stoner on the 23rd lap of the 2008 U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca. The controversial cut through the famous Corkscrew was arguably the most dramatic moment of the 2008 MotoGP season (and ironically, recreated this year, with Marc Marquez turning the tables on Rossi).

BMW earned its first-ever World Superbike race win at the U.K.’s Donington Park, but missed out on sweeping the round after teammates Leon Haslam and Marco Melandri crashed on the final corner while battling for the lead in the second race. Melandri earned BMW its landmark first win in Race One leading Haslam in a one-two finish. They could have repeated that finish in Race Two but Haslam low-sided after making contact with Honda‘s Jonathon Rea trying to pass on the inside.
