Ducati Superbike tech info
Ducati Superbike description
A great condition, beautifully equipped, 2007 Ducati 999S Parts Unlimited Edition! Number 60 of only 500 Ducati 999S Parts Unlimited edition motorcycles ever made. This (last of the real Ducati SuperBikes) is the last year, and production run of the Ducati 999. It includes top of the line Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes, Marchesini wheels, and more direct from the factory. Which is good since it was $20,000 when it was new, and that's before more than $5,000 in upgrades were installed! Upgrades include:
This is not my first Ducati 999. I've had a lot of 999's and have rode at least 15,000 miles on 999's over the years.
(you are not buying from some rookie, I still own and ride my insanely built 999R, 1098R, Monster, Desmosedici, and about 20 other exotic bikes, while running BellissiMoto, the nations #1 exotic motorcycle parts store) More useful and important information: Services are up to date. Tires have maybe 500 miles on them, so expect to replace them soon. Bike has been dropped before, but damage was basically limited to the original fairings. The only other damage was exceptionally minor (very hard to see any) and limited axle and bar end sliders which have simply been removed from the bike. If I didn't tell you this bike had been dropped, or if you didn't know that it originally came with different bodywork, you may have never noticed. I have several great upgrade parts available from BellissiMoto for this bike. If you purchase the bike, we can make you great deals on items like magnesium or carbon fiber wheels, slipper clutches, and more. Have a question? Please don't hesitate to ask any! That you can buy this bike for only $8,500 is rather amazing, don't let the opportunity pass you by. Clean California Title. |

Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results
Fri, 01 Nov 2013Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
Behind the scenes in Qatar
Sat, 19 Mar 2011Just because you have the name Jorge Lorenzo on your screen and you've won a world championship doesn't mean you'll get an easy time at scrutineering. In Qatar the technical inspection staff made the factory Yamaha mechanics remove bodywork and unbolt some electrical components in order to get a better look at the guts of the 2011 M1. Everything was in order of course but what a great opportunity for the scrutineers to exercise their power and have a poke around the most high tech Yamaha on the planet.
