Ducati Superbike description

This rare 2007 Ducati GT1000 is in unbelievable condition with upgrades that would cost well over 10k to make again! I am the second owner and great care has been taken to maintain its condition.  Valve work complete 2 years ago.  Everything is in running order and ready to go...

Listed below are the upgrades complete:

Sport Classic Tank
Speedy Moto sliders
MicroTech performance ECU $1100
Zard handmade titanium custom pipes $4000
Speedymoto Triple tree $1000
Traxxion Dynamics fork cartrige kit $1000
Ohlins rear shocks $1000
Carrozzeria Forged aluminum wheels $3000 (includes brembo 4 piston calipers $500)
Fleda LED rear break light $400
Pazzo brake and clutch levers $200
Sport classic comfort seat $300
Rizmo brake/clutch reservoirs $250

24,500 miles and runs beautifully. The only thing that does not work is the speed, tach and digital display.

Bike does have a small lien. Freedom road is very easy to work with.

One of the best bikes I have ever ridden and I hate to see it go, but I have a traveling project that needs funded.

Ducati Targeting Aprilia Racing Manager Gigi Dall’Igna

    Wed, 09 Oct 2013

Ducati has reportedly signed Aprilia Racing manager Gigi Dall’Igna to take control of its struggling MotoGP program. Neither Ducati Corse or Aprilia Racing have confirmed the reports, but several sources in the European motorsports press such as Motociclismo.it, not to mention a tweet from retired World Superbike Champion Max Biaggi, claim the deal is done. Dall’Igna has been an instrumental figure in Aprilia’s racing success since the manufacturer’s return to WSBK racing with the RSV4 in 2009, helping guide Biaggi to two championships and, pending the result of the 2013 season finale at Jerez, likely three manufacturers titles.

Watch the Entire World Ducati Week 2012 Diavel Drag Race – Video

    Mon, 30 Jul 2012

Last month, we wrote about the Diavel Drag Race at World Ducati Week 2012 starring Ducati’s current MotoGP and World Superbike racers and the one and only Troy Bayliss. If you missed it, the retired three-time WSBK Champion Bayliss defeated nine-time Grand Prix Champion Valentino Rossi in the drag race competition on Ducati Diavel Carbons. Our initial post featured a video of highlights from the drag race competition shot by Italian website Motociclismo.it but it was filmed by a single camera from an awkward vantage point.

Ducati Reports 43% Growth in North America

    Thu, 19 Jan 2012

Ducati North America announced growth of 43% in 2011 compared to 2010, resulting in the Bologna company’s largest ever market share in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The announcement reinforces claims made by Ducati Chief Executive Officer Gabriele Del Torchio last September: North America has replaced Italy as Ducati’s #1 market. Ducati attributes its growth to the popularity of the Diavel and Mulistrada in North America.
