Ducati Superbike description

Up for sale is my 2005 Ducati 999R.  It started as my project to turn a standard 999R into an RS/F05 replica.  Life happens and I am no longer able to finish what I started.  My big loss your gain.  Other than standard "R" spec trim I have had a Ducati Corse Termignoni full system adapted to fit the standard swingarm.  To get it all to work I had a custom fabricated subframe mating the Corse carbon Fiber tail section to the standard R frame and exhaust.  Up front It has Cast Brembo Monolocs and real deal 999RS Corse 12 button free floating rotors up front.  I have had the all the Fairings repainted and a few cracks repaired from previous owners parking lot drop.  Never been down at speed or at all on my watch.  The valve adjustment and maintenance was done at 12000 miles by D&D motorsports Pensacola. The Ohlins upfront have been rebuilt and resprung.  Ducati sprockets (3up 1 down) have just been put on along with a sweet LED brake/blinker assembly at the back. A paint shop that shall remain un named applied the tail decals VERY POORLY and at least the left side will need to be replacing (.srsigndesign).

-Fast and Loud
-Get Cool factor for a fraction of the price
-Rare RS exhaust and tail

MotoGP to Standardize ECU Software in 2016 Season

Tue, 18 Mar 2014

MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.

How do 1000s compare to the 800s

Wed, 09 Nov 2011

Now MotoGP has completed its transformation from 800 to 1000cc, how do the lap times between the different bikes compare using Valencia and the post-season test as a benchmark.. Yesterday, Dani Pedrosa was the quickest 1000 on his Honda RC213V setting a time of 1:32.186. To find the quickest time from the outgoing 800 era you have to look at his current Repsol Honda team-mate, Casey Stoner, but it wasn't set on a Honda.

2023 Ducati Streetfighter V4, V4 S, and V4 SP2 First Look

Thu, 20 Oct 2022

We're always fighting in the streets Did we really need the Ducati Streetfighter V4 to be even trickier and more refined than the one that won last year’s Open Nakeds Shootout with ease? The one that out-horsepowered even the mighty Kawasaki Z H2 – 177 rear-wheel horses to 163? Actually there was room for improvement, as the mighty V4 S finished third in the Track portion of that seven-bike slugfest.
