Ducati Superbike description

This is a 2005 Ducati 749 Dark converted to a race bike. It has a rebuilt title and comes with everything needed to put it back on the street. It saw two track days after it was converted. The following list of equipment on the bike is BRAND new.

Armor Bodies Race Plastic Professionally painted.
Front and Rear Bridgestone Tires
Front and Rear Vortex Sprockets
DID Chain
Clutch Pressure Plate and Springs
ASV Levers
DNA Race Filters
CycleCat Fram sliders (two sets)
Factory Sticker Kit with plenty extra stickers.
CutGraphics Number Plate decals (not on bike)
Front and Rear Break Pads
Synthetic Racing Oil
K&N Oil Filter
Zero Gravity Double Bubble Wind Screen
Lots of Carbon Fiber
I am sure I forgot something but will add it later.

The following list of equipment is NOT brand new but enhances performance and is not original to this bike.

749R Seat
749R Aluminum Sub Frame
749S Gold Front Forks
LighTech Gas keyless gas cap

The bike is spotless and extremely well taken care of. It does have two small scratches, one one the left side of the tank (hard to see) the other on the very lower swing arm. The swing arm is also scratched underneath because the idiot that owned it before me must have used a real cheap rear wheel stand. Also, the lower part of the cluster gauge does not work. I never cared because I had my lap timer over that area but if you want to put it back on the street it will need to be fixed or replaced. All WERA required bolts are drilled and ready for safety wire. This includes the oil filter and fill cap. I have no time to race it and worry I may wreck it if I do! Thanks for looking.

Mon, 24 Jul 2023

Your Partner-in-Crime The more I ride the Ducati DesertX, the more I like it. There are so many excellent choices in the middleweight adventure bike segment these days that any ADV-curious motorcyclist should be able to find themselves a compatible match. The DesertX is like that one friend you know is always down for some sort of mischief – more partner-in-crime than just a partner.

EICMA 2012: New Ducati Hyperstrada a Cross between Hypermotard and Multistrada

Mon, 12 Nov 2012

Over the last several months, Ducati fans have been pouring over a number of spy photos and debating whether the new model pictured was a Hypermotard or a Multistrada. The answer, it turns out, is a bit of both, with Ducati revealing the new Hyperstrada at the 2012 EICMA Show alongside a new liquid-cooled Hypermotard. Like the new Hypermotard, the 2013 Ducati Hyperstrada is equipped with an 821cc version of the liquid-cooled Testastretta 11-degree engine.

2023 Ducati Streetfighter V4S Review - First Ride

Wed, 22 Mar 2023

A tale of evolution. Credit: Photos by Alex Photo Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but we’re big fans of the Ducati Streetfighter V4 around here. The do-it-all naked bike is fast as hell when you want to get crazy, but as docile as a puppy when you don’t.
