Ducati Superbike description

2004 Ducati 749R - 2, 5mis Dealer installed Termignoni Kit installed. Kit includes new ECU, induction changes amp; exhaust upgrade. It has always been kept in an air-conditioned and humidity controlled facility. Only 2, five miles since new. The 749R has been ridden a few miles each month to keep it in attractive shape. It has never been on a track, raced or otherwise abused. It is an extremely fun bike to ride with its 749cc displacement allowing for more shifting of its sweet gear box than would take place with a liter bike.

Austin Kicks Off MotoGP Weekend!

This weekend, the MotoGP circus makes its way to the United States for round two of the world championship, held at the stunning new Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, the first time the track will host a world championship level motorcycle event. Expect to see the world’s fastest racebikes reach speeds over 200 mph on the 1 km (0.62-mile) back straight, and bring ear plugs — these bikes are loud! 848s head to Castle Combe

The penultimate round of the 848 Challenge is being held at Castle Combe this Saturday as part of the Fowlers Probike National event. The event is celebrating 60 years of motorcycle racing at Castle Combe with a huge variety of races including 125s, 350 and 500cc solos of the British historic Grand Prix Championship and of course the Ducati 848 championship. In the 848 Challenge, Leon Morris leads the championship and just needs a couple of podium finishes to see off the hard-charging Mike Edwards who's currently in second place.

2011 Ducati Diavel Recalled for Weak Kickstands

Ducati issued a recall for the Diavel because of weak kickstands. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the side stands on the 2011 Ducati Diavel was not manufactured with sufficient material at the pivot point. Under certain circumstances, the stand may bend and possibly break at the pivot area, causing a resting Diavel to tip over.
