Ducati Superbike description

An excellent condition, super clean, 2003 Ducati 999 with only 2,177 miles.

Yes, you read that correctly, she only has 2,177 miles!

This bike had an msrp of $17,695 when it was new, and that's before more than $5,000 in upgrades were installed!

  • Carbon Fiber Headlight Fairing
  • Carbon Fiber Tail Fairing
  • Carbon Fiber Front Fender
  • Carbon Fiber Winglets
  • Carbon Fiber Rear Fender
  • Competition Werkes Fender Eliminator
  • Billet Open Clutch Cover and Pressure Plate
  • Termignoni Exhaust Half System
  • Ducati Performance ECU
  • MWR Air Filters
  • Racing Windscreen
  • Gold DID Racing Chain
  • PMoto Reservoir Covers

This is actually my first Biposto Ducati 999, which is amazing, since I love 2 up superbikes (for the ladies), and I've had a lot of 999's and have rode at least 15,000 miles on 999's over the years.
(you are not buying from some rookie, I still own and ride my insanely built 999R, 1098R, Monster, Desmosedici, and about 20 other exotic bikes, while running BellissiMoto, the nations #1 exotic motorcycle parts store)

More useful and important information:

Everything functions perfectly!

Bike was just serviced (belts replaced, fluids replaced, systems checked, etc...) and needs nothing!

Tires are between 80 and 90% (so almost new), chain is a new DID gold racing chain, carbon fiber and original bodywork is all in great condition (though a few small imperfections (tiny stone chips, light scratches, etc...) may exist, there are none significant enough for me to notice or consider to be worth mentioning), battery is good, and for your convenience, battery tender quick disconnect is installed.

Don't hesitate to ask any questions.

That you can buy this bike for only $7,500 is rather amazing, don't let the opportunity pass you by!

Ducati MotoGP: Smoke and mirrors

Tue, 01 Mar 2011

There's often more lurking within a seemingly innocuous press release than first meets the eye. The latest communication from Ducati's MotoGP spin doctor would, at first, lend you to believe that the team are buoyed with steely optimism and are hopeful that their hard work ethic and diligence will get them to the top of the time sheets in two shakes of a 10 mil' Facom T-bar. The results from their pre-season testing sessions have so far been pretty glum with both Nicky Hayden and their golden boy Valentino Rossi trailing the rest of the pack by a couple of seconds.

Live from the Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO launch

Wed, 18 Nov 2009

I'm out in Sardinia for the launch of Ducati's Hypermotard 1100 EVO. I can't wait. I'm knackered from the transfers, been up since 5am and haven't helped myself by necking an espresso at every opportunity.

WSBK: 2012 Moscow Results

Mon, 27 Aug 2012

The historic race first-ever World Superbike Championship round in Russia provided plenty of drama with several top riders crashing out of both races and a new leader emerge in the chase for the 2012 WSBK Championship. Superpole qualifying made for four different manufacturers lining up in the first row of the grid, with Carlos Checa taking pole position for Althea Ducati ahead of Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes, Aprilia‘s Eugene Laverty and BMW rider Leon Haslam. A slightly damp and unfamiliar track likely contributed to a number of crashes and collisions.
