2001 Ducati 748 Biposto with 4242 Org. miles (time capsule) Collector Quality (Re listing due to dead beat ebayer ... If you can't come up with the money, don't bid!) Purchased New in April 2002 as a leftover These bikes were selling for $13,500 NEW (I basically broke the bike in) First stage 621 miles between 6500-7000 RPM, Second stage 1553 miles up to 8000 RPM I am very meticulous with this bike and breaking it in took some discipline but it was done right, and therefore doesn't smoke as you may have seen some do. This is also a fuel injected bike. I am the orginal ADULT owner, 100% stock unmolested, never down... with all up to date services 2002 I believe was the last year for this Body style that will never get old, Its just truely beautiful This is Showroom condition, always garaged and covered... No paint fade! (this is that one) No hacking or cutting up of rear fender, Has original build stickers and yellow wax torque markings still on bolts from dealer. I would only use 1 key so as to not scratch the gas tank when starting the bike...Comes with both front and rear stands and owners manual. This bike is by no means your average Ducati, such it won't sell for the average price! It's time for it to go and I know that I'm asking a very realistic and fair price. It's not for everyone, and I understand it's for someone who can appreciate the legacy and heritage that Ducati brings. If you want to offer 5grand than go find another with 10-20 thousand miles on it. It would be hard pressed to find another bike cleaner... 2014 Ducati 899 Panigale Revealed
Mon, 09 Sep 2013Traditionally, Ducati saves its big reveals for the EICMA Show in November in its native Italy, but with the company now under the helm of Audi, we will have to start looking to Germany for the major announcements. Case in point is the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show where today Ducati officially pulled the covers off its new 899 Panigale, revealing a new “Supermid” version of the 1199 Panigale using the same monocoque frame concept and Superquadro 90-degree V-Twin engine design. Our own Troy Siahaan will be attending the press launch, so check back soon for his review.
Saltarelli Classic Ducati Collection Up for Auction
Tue, 17 Jan 2012One of the world’s largest private collections of Ducati motorcycles is going on the auction block. Former Ducati factory test rider, racer and dealer Carlo Saltarelli is selling his collection of classic motorcycles at RM Auction‘s biennial auction in Monaco on May 11-12 during the Grand Prix of Monaco Historique. Saltarelli’s collection includes 100 motorcycles including a 1970 ex-Works Ducati 450 Desmo Corsa which was featured in the Ducati museum in Bologna, Italy.

We get the idea, you want to hype your forthcoming product, create an air of anticipation, get our attention so when you finally launch the thing we're all on the edge of our collective seats. Sure, with some products – mobile phones, computer games, whatever – the teaser campaign probably works.
