Ducati Superbike tech info
Ducati Superbike description
I am offering this beautiful and unique 1998 Ducati 916 up for sale. It's been a lot of fun but now it's time for a new owner to enjoy this great bike. All service is up to date to ensure that it's reliable for daily use and for cross country travel. It's done Florida to Denver and Denver to Las Vegas and back without any mechanical issues.
A few years ago the bike was painted a subtle shade of metallic gray (House of Kolor Galaxy Gray) and it still looks fantastic. It's got a bit of a pewter color which compliments the gold frame and wheels nicely. It's covered many miles since the repaint so there are some chips on the nose and the belly and some other indicators of use, but nothing terrible. It still looks great and gets compliments wherever it goes. All of the plastics are factory Ducati pieces, not aftermarket Chinese stuff. Recent replacement parts and service items are covered pretty thoroughly in the receipts below, but some of the highlights include a top end service with replacement rocker arms, a rebuilt Ohlins shock, new chain and sprockets and recent Michelin tires. This bike also has Arrow exhaust, an upgraded slave cylinder, adjustable rearsets and a smoked LED taillight with integrated turn signals. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or requests for specific photos. The bike is located just north of Denver, Colorado. |

Hayden rides dirt track (again)
Tue, 31 Aug 2010So Nicky Hayden's signed for another two-years at Ducati. He must be chuffed with that deal, I mean it's not as if he's wowed anyone with his performances on the Desmosedici, but he is a grafter. And perhaps the perfect team mate to play second fiddle to Rossi?
