1985 DUCATI MIKE HAILWOOD REPLICA MILLE. VERY LOW MILEAGE (9995 KMS OR JUST UNDER 6000 ORIGINAL MILES). ORIGINALY SOLD AT GHOST MOTORCYCLES ON LONG ISLAND NY. I AM THE 3RD OWNER. ALL ORIGINAL WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE WINDSCREEN. CONTI EXHAUST ARE INSTALLED BUT THIS HAILWOOD WILL COME WITH THE ORIGINAL MUFFLERS THAT WERE TAKEN OFF IN FAVOUR OF THE CONTI'S WHEN NEW BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER. K&N FILTERS ARE INSTALLED AND LEFT SIDE COVER HAS BEEN MODIFIED TO ALLOW CLEARANCE FOR THE K&N FILTER, BUT A NOS SET OF MILLE SIDE COVERS WILL BE INCLUDED WITH THE SALE OF THE BIKE. ALSO INCLUDED WITH THE SALE IS A NOS FACTORY PAINTED SEAT BASE. THE NOS SIDE COVERS AND SEAT BASE ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE, VERY RARE ITEMS. BIKE IS TURN KEY AND COMES FULLY SERVICED (VALVES, FLUIDS, BRAKES, FILTERS, FORK SEALS, CARBS ETC…) NO LEAKS OF ANY KIND. BY A DUCATI EXPERT. Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes put on a clinic this weekend, leading every lap in both races to claim a pair of wins at Spain’s Motorland Aragon circuit. Sykes’ Kawasaki teammate Loris Baz was right there with him, recording a pair of second-place podiums to give Team Green a pair of one-two finishes. Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.

A 2005 Ducati Multistrada 1000DS belonging to actor Bruce Willis has been auctioned off for $6,250. The Multistrada was the first of five motorcycles from the “Die Hard” actor’s personal collection that will be sold to benefit the Boot Campaign, a non-profit organization supporting active and retired members of the U.S. military.

It’s no secret that promoter Dorna Motorsports has been trying to push a standardized electronics control unit for teams in the MotoGP World Championship. The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.
