Ducati Superbike description

Taglioni's final design would be the Pantah motor and TT2, together they would win (4) world championships for Ducati.

In 1982 Walter Cussigh won every round of the Italian TT2 Championship and Tony Rutter won the World TT2 Championship, both on TT2's.
Their TT2's used 41mm Malossi Dell'Orto Carburetors and on 16" / 18" Campoagolo wheels ... just like this one.  The 600cc motor is rated to make 78 bhp at 10,500rpm.

It is a original factory race bike with a properly stamped Verlicchi frame with a two digit vin #, noting its position in the order of just (40) TT2's created.  It has been seen and reviewed by local, national and international renowned racers and restorers of the TT era.

It's been shown at events including:
2006 - Ducati Club BBQ and show - New York
2007 - Ducati NY Showroom / NY Motorcycle Show
2007 - Lime Rock Vintage Auto & Bike Show - Connecticut
2008 - Ducati Club BBQ and show - New York
2009 - 1st US Ducati TT symposium - New York
2010 - 2nd US Ducati TT symposium - New Jersey
2011 - 3rd US Ducati TT symposium - Alabama

Imported from Belgium after the millennium, it has been in the Northeast of the United States since.

Started recently, it shakes the concrete slab of my garage when revved and sounds incredible.
I am not a motorcycle racer and it has not been used on the track during my ownership.  Assume it will require a full going through prior to running and use.  The tank is fiberglass and no ethanol has been used within it.

Ducati's 1993 Supermono (67 produced) and 1973 750 Supersport (401 produced) are both now trading over $150,000 (and the Supermono never won a series). The TT2 was the Taglioni's last design and the Pantah motor is the basis of every Ducati since its inception in 1979, through today.  If you are looking for a collectable, an investment and to add a jewel to your collection, the TT2 is it.

Questions are invited and serious parties are invited to view the TT2 in New York City.  Thank you for looking.

The TT2 was the basis of many Ducati's to come including the TT1, 750F1A, 750F1B, Montjuich, Laguna Seca and Santa Monica.  All of these would be 750cc air cooled motors, that were the next generation of the TT2's.
