1998 DUCATI ST2 SPORT TURISMO WITH COLLISION DAMAGE. Damage: Bike went down on the left side damaging the following, left side of front fairing, left front turn signal, left side body panels, clutch lever, left bar end rash, missing mirrors, missing rear turn signals, right front top area has touch up paint .Very nice clean bike for age. Runs great! Arrow exhaust, Zero gravity windshield etc. Bike is being sold in condition "AS IS!" with a New York salvage certificate MV907A. Please check your local salvage laws before bidding. BMW earned its first-ever World Superbike race win at the U.K.’s Donington Park, but missed out on sweeping the round after teammates Leon Haslam and Marco Melandri crashed on the final corner while battling for the lead in the second race. Melandri earned BMW its landmark first win in Race One leading Haslam in a one-two finish. They could have repeated that finish in Race Two but Haslam low-sided after making contact with Honda‘s Jonathon Rea trying to pass on the inside.

We’re still in awe of a bizarre incident from the past weekend’s World Superbike Race at England’s Donington Park. If you haven’t heard what happened yet, check the video after the jump or read about it in our race report. We’ve seen crashes before where a rider lost control of his rear wheel, but not like this.
