Ducati Scrambler description

I absolutely love this bike and it has been my baby for that last year. I am selling it because I am getting back into dirt bike riding and just can't have so many bikes.

Bike is in excellent condition. It runs smooth as butter. Two year DUCATI warranty expires 05/23/2017. Comes with $750 custom Corbin seat with removable backrest and the original Scramber Icon seat. Pics are shown with both seats. It also has rear paddock stand bobbins. The rear tire is fine for a few hundred miles but is due for replacement. Local pickup or buyer arranges his own transport. I can take more photos including of the Corbin seat backrest. Just let me know.

Report: Ducati to Introduce Three 820cc Models at EICMA

Fri, 21 Sep 2012

Ducati will introduce three new models built around an 820cc platform at the 2012 EICMA show, reports French site Moto-Station. Over the last couple of months, spy photos of a new mid-sized Ducati model has been making the rounds, with many people claiming it will be a new liquid-cooled Hypermotard while others, like our own Kevin Duke, believe the new model would be a Multistrada.

Looking after number 1

Fri, 06 Jan 2012

There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.

Audi‘s purchase of Ducati is still waiting for regulatory approval but that hasn’t stopped the two companies from taking advantage of their impending union.
