Ducati Paul Smart 1000LE description

Yes thats right only 1 Mile!!! This bike is new. It has been titled and licensed that is it so technically it is not new. The bike came out of a collection stored in a climate controlled garage here in St. Louis. I purchased the entire collection. My mechanic has gone through the bike to make sure that it is right. We started the bike for just a few minutes to make sure it is correct. The cosmolean has not even fully burned off the motor from the factory. I have all books, original purchase paperwork, and 3 keys including the red key. I am a dealer so I will sell with a 90 day or 1000 mile warranty on internally lubricated powertrain components (not that I think you will need it.) We can also help to arrange shipping within the United States (otherwise you are responsible for pick up or shipping). Please have payment arranged before purchasing. If you need financing feel free to contact us or fill out a credit application on our website. Purchase of the motorcycle is subject to a $149 administration fee. A 30 day Missouri temporary tag is available for $5. Auction is subject to cancelation at anytime as it is for sale else where. feel free to give us a call at 314-932-1122 with any questions

WSBK: 2012 Magny-Cours Results – Championship Decided by Half a Point

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.

This was the sorry looking JHP Ducati after Darren Fry crashed it in qualifying on Sunday before the first race of the championship. Fry broke his coccyx in the crash but, fortunately for Fry, it took around 10 people just over 3 hours to get the bike ready to race, as can be seen in the picture below. Hats off to Darren Fry for racing the bike over the rest of the weekend.

So last season I spent all but the last round racing on a buckled wheel. How didn't I spot it, you ask. Well, I should have done and when I asked other riders about the weave at high speed the usual reply was 'They all do that, sir'.
