2007 Ducati GT1000

Absolutely beautiful 2007 Ducati GT 1000 Sport Classic in Red. This bike has less than 5,000 miles and is in excellent condition. Has been well maintained by authorized Ducati Dealer. Mostly original equipment with a couple of exceptions. Rear fender elimination kit and license plate bracket, lowered handlebars, retro Napoleon mirrors and updated turn indicators. No dents or scratches and has never been dropped or set down incorrectly. Definitely becoming a collectors item with limited production from 2007-2010. Ducati Reveals Testastretta DVT Engine + Video

Ducati has introduced a new version of its 1198cc engine featuring a variable timing system. As the name implies, the Testastretta Desmodromic Variable Timing (DVT) engine combines the company’s signature desmo valves with a variable timing system that adjusts both intake and exhaust camshafts. According to Ducati, this represents the first ever application of both technologies for a motorcycle engine.

Another sign of the Audi-Ducati relationship has popped up at the motorcycle manufacturer’s headquarters in Bologna, Italy. Pictured here is an Audi A1 sports hatchback dressed in paint inspired by the Ducati 1199 Panigale S Tricolore. The special color scheme includes the Ducati logo on the hood, Italian red, white and green striping and red alloy wheels.

Provisional 2012 World Superbike Championship Entry List Released

The International Motorcycling Federation has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 World Superbike Championship. The preliminary list includes 24 entries representing six manufacturers: Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Noticeably absent is Yamaha which announced last summer it would pull out of WSBK racing.
