2014 WSBK – Donington Results

Tom Sykes and Loris Baz captured a pair of one-two finishes for Kawasaki at England’s Donington Park. The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli. 2014 MotoGP Ducati Ticket Package At COTA

Ducati island, a yearly landmark during the MotoGP race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, CA, is moving to Austin’s Circuit of the Americas (COTA) for 2014. To celebrate its new location Ducati is offering an exclusive MotoGP ticket package. For the second round of the 2014 MotoGP season, April 11-13, Ducati will descend upon COTA’s “Grand Plaza” which is centrally located within the facility, in close proximity to the racetrack ticket office and main fan entrance.

The other day Casey Stoner tweeted this shot of this factory looking kart, which the reigning champion has been customising during the MotoGP downtime between Qatar and Jerez. Stoner became hooked on karting after taking part in the ice-race at the Ducati/Ferrari Vrooom event in 2009, beating F1 driver Felipe Massa in the process. Not only a hobby, Casey uses karting for training, as the Australian says there are physical benefits as well as to his reflexes.
