2013 Ducati StreetFighter 848, CONTACT KYLE FOR DETAILS(480) The Ducati Streetfigther 848 combines the 848 Testastretta 11 engine and a new Trellis frame with Superbike 848EVO-derived geometry. This mix assures a great handling and a rush of power which is kept in check by the advanced Ducati Traction Control system.The engine is based on the Testastretta Evoluzione and delivers 132 hp at 10,000 rpm and a peak torque of 9.5 kgm at 9,500 rpm. Compared to the Testastretta Evoluzione, the 848 Testastretta 11 s overlap angle has been reduced from 37 to 11 to ensure a fluid power delivery, a wider power band and reduced consumption and emissions.The engine is combined with a 2-1-2 exhaust system made from weight-saving 1mm thick steel with 58mm to 63.5mm diameter pipes. Wed, 30 May 2012Ducati has opened a new boutique restaurant lounge bar in Dubai, joining existing franchises in Rome, Shanghai and Bangkok. Like other Ducati Caffè franchises, the Dubai location offers Italian-style food and, of course, coffee, as well as Ducati merchandise. The lounge inhabits a two-floor, 4,400 square-foot unit in the Dubai mall.
Ducati Holding Private Viewings of New Scrambler at World Ducati Week
Wed, 18 Jun 2014Ducati announced it will offer private preview viewings of its new Scrambler prototype at World Ducati Week, July 18-20. Visitors to the annual Ducatisti festival at Italy’s Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli will get an early look at the Scrambler. Not counting the spy photos that have leaked out, the Scrambler has only been seen in person by Ducati employees who were recently given a sneak peak.
Federico Sandi Loses Ducati 1199 Panigale Superstock 1000 Ride – Again
Thu, 03 May 2012For the second time this season, Superstock 1000 Cup racer Federico Sandi has lost his ride on a new Ducati 1199 Panigale race bike. Sandi was cut loose from Liberty Racing in March after the team decided to focus its resources on a four-rider World Superbike effort. The 22-year-old racer then landed with Althea Racing, the team that captured the 2011 Superstock 1000 Cup as well as the 2011 WSBK Championship with Carlos Checa.
