Ducati Other description

2013 Ducati Hyperstrada, CONTACT KYLE FOR DETAILS(480)-898-0559Whether we are talking about style, comfort or handling, the Ducati Hyperstrada has it all. And there is no wonder why, as this fascinating motorcycle was created to set new standards in the hypermotard segment.

Its versatility is impressive and you won t have to worry about technologies either, as the Hyperstrada is packed with all the features expected from a modern motorcycle such as ABS or DTC.

However, the Ducati Hyperstrada s technological core is represented by the fresh Testastretta 11 , L-Twin cylinder, 4 valve per cylinder, Desmodromic, liquid cooled engine. Fire it up and it will reward you with a maximum power of 110hp (81kW) at 9250rpm and 89 Nm (65.8 lb-ft) of torque at 7750 rpm.

To be able to resist to this massive power generated by the engine the motorcycle received a new trellis frame which is combined with top-of-the range chassis components. It is also worthy of being mentioned that the 2013 Hyperstrada retains its highly maneuverable 70 of lock-to-lock steering movement, while the wheelbase now increases to 1490mm.

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.

Two days after the MotoGP race at Brno Karel Abraham received a bachelor's degree in law. When most riders were fully focussed on the race at Brno, Abraham was also studying for his law exams at his home race. The Ducati rider has had a fragmented season in 2012, missing races through injury, but he was able to get a top 10 finish with ninth in the Czech GP.
