Not everyone loves Rossi

The town of Casinina is only a few miles away from Tavullia, where Valentino Rossi grew up. Judging by these T-Shirts, not everyone who's Italian or into their Ducatis loves Mr Rossi by default. The T-shirt says: 'For the love of god, go!'.

Last week, we wrote about Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden and Ducati’s annual Wrooom ski and press event in Madonna di Campiglio, Italy. While Ducati, Rossi and Hayden are under intense pressure to perform better in 2012 than they did in the 2011 MotoGP season, the Wrooom event provided the riders and the team a chance to unwind before getting back to work. If there’s one thing Ducati’s good at doing, (well, besides building motorcycles that is), it’s making the showroom premieres of its newest models an event. That holds true with the North American dealership premieres of Ducati‘s newest Monster, the flagship of the company’s naked roadster lineup, the Ducati Monster 1100EVO. The Ducati Monster 1100EVO, now listed as Ducati’s first 2012 model, arrives in participating showrooms across the United States and Canada May 27-28.
