2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale S, Incredible performance along with DES,DTC,DQS,EBC - Supreme performance, superlative technology, magnetic personality, enthralling design: on track or on road, there’s nothing to beat the 1199 Panigale. The 1199 Panigale S is equipped with Öhlins suspension, both on the front and on the rear that features the innovative Ducati Electronic Suspension (DES). Also made by Öhlins is the adjustable steering damper. In addition, the model rolls on super lightweight forged and machined Marchesini wheels, a carbon fiber front mudguard, full LED headlights and an Aero Kit, which consists of an additional wider fairing top-section. The 1199 Panigale S is also equipped with DTC, DQS, EBC and Power Mode combined into the Ducati Riding Modes. This model is available in standard configuration with optional ABS (country specific). MotoGP Lifts Rookie Rule, Caps Factory Prototype Entries and Adjusts Other Regulations

As expected, MotoGP organizers have officially lifted the rule barring rookies from racing for factory teams, but the Grand Prix Commission also tweaked some other regulations including a cap on factory prototype machines. Ducati Celebrates 1 Million Facebook Likes – Video

Facebook has been getting a bad rap of late with its recent IPO but that didn’t stop Ducati from celebrating its millionth “Like” on the official Ducati Facebook page. The Italian manufacturer marked the occasion with a video thanking its fans. The video is almost a real-life demonstration of how Facebook operates, following a first-person perspective of a fan visiting Ducati‘s headquarters in Bologna, Italy, and raising a thumb to “like” things he sees such the rows of L-Twin-powered motorcycles in the parking lot, Corse racebikes on display at the Ducati Museum, factory workers assembling a Ducati 1199 Panigale.

Meet AMA Superbike Rider Geoff May At D-Store Chicago May 30th

This weekend, the AMA Pro Roadracing circus makes its way to Road America for round two of the series. Before festivities on track get started, however, here’s your chance to meet Dainese-sponsored rider Geoff May as the D-Store Chicago will be hosting a meet and greet on Thursday, May 30, starting at 4pm. The event will include raffle prizes, with proceeds benefitting W.I.N.G.S., an organization providing integrated services to families, in an effort to end domestic violence and homelessness.
