Ducati Other description

2010 Ducati Streetfighter 1098, I am selling a 2010 Ducati Streetfighter with approx. 8200 miles on the clock. The Streefighter is no longer offered by Ducati with the 1098 super bike motor, and it is sure to be a collectors piece, as it was relatively low production. The bike is a weekend toy that was meticulously maintained. It has always been garage kept, has never seen any rain, and all routine service was performed by my local Ducati dealer. The bike has a few tasteful extras such as an Akrapovic exhaust, and a few Rizoma parts (radiator guard, frame plugs, etc...). The tires are brand new, only have a couple hundred miles on them, and the 7,500 mile service was performed at Ducati last year. The bike is in peak mechanical condition, with extremely low miles. $12,500.00 or best reasonable offer.

Tyre warmers for the daily commute

Thu, 10 Dec 2009

Ducati's Streetfighter is a serious bit of kit. It's actually perfect for my daily commute, if not, slightly extravagant. It's narrow, nimble and precise.

Enigma 1050 is a new, all-British motorbike based around a Triumph 1050 Speed Triple engine. It's being put together by a small team of people headed by former MCN editor and lifelong fan of British engineering, Jim Lindsay. "The driving force behind the project," says Lindsay, "Is to showcase some of the amazing expertise that exists in the British motorcycle industry." Enigma is being designed as a sharp-handling road bike with all-day comfort as one of the key goals.
