The ST3 S ABS bristles with our best race-derived components. The front end sports touring-tuned fully adjustable Showa 43 mm forks with low friction titanium nitride coated sliders. The aluminum alloy rear swingarm is controlled by an outstanding fully adjustable Öhlins rear shock with remote pre-load adjustment. Ultra-light Marchesini five-spoke wheels are mounted front and rear which reduce unsprung weight and further the confident road holding manners of the ST3 S ABS. SAFE AND IN CONTROL The Ducati ABS system is a major advancement in safety and control. At the core of the Ducati ABS system is a highly advanced electronic processor that senses wheel speed when braking and assists in maintaining control of the motorcycle by preventing tire lock-up in emergency and low traction situations. Designed to manage the front and rear brake circuits separately, the Brembo brake system with Ducati ABS is designed with a finer function threshold than most systems, enabling it to accommodate even the most aggressive riding styles.

2011 Ducati Diavel Recalled for Weak Kickstands

Wed, 17 Aug 2011

Ducati issued a recall for the Diavel because of weak kickstands. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the side stands on the 2011 Ducati Diavel was not manufactured with sufficient material at the pivot point. Under certain circumstances, the stand may bend and possibly break at the pivot area, causing a resting Diavel to tip over.

Fri, 29 Jun 2012

Never in my life have I seen so many Ducatis, but then that's hardly surprising as I took this photo at World Ducati Week 2012, in Misano, last week. Although I knew it was going to be packed from wall-to-wall with the Bologna-made bikes, I never realised there would be so many Panigales there. Of all of the big-cc sportsbikes, I reckon one in five was a Panigale.
