The SS900 is easily the best performing Ducati Supersport. Only the highest quality components are used. Showa fully adjustable inverted forks handle suspension duties up front while the rear suspension has been thoroughly updated in 2002 through the addition of an incredible Öhlins rear shock - just like the ones you see on the World Superbikes - allowing compression, rebound and spring preload to be tuned to your riding style with the twist of the adjusters. To compliment the new suspension we’ve added a newly designed aluminum swingarm that’s 40% more rigid than before ensuring the predictable and confidence inspiring Ducati handling you expect. Ducati Reveals Testastretta DVT Engine + Video
Wed, 15 Oct 2014Ducati has introduced a new version of its 1198cc engine featuring a variable timing system. As the name implies, the Testastretta Desmodromic Variable Timing (DVT) engine combines the company’s signature desmo valves with a variable timing system that adjusts both intake and exhaust camshafts. According to Ducati, this represents the first ever application of both technologies for a motorcycle engine.

Thu, 10 Feb 2011Despite the Diavel Carbon weighing in at 207 kg (456 pounds) dry and featuring bulkier dimensions than any other Ducati it still handles very well. This is down to true Ducati know-how where the 162hp 1200cc L-twin and trellis frame are based on the 1198 superbike developments. The engine is in fact the same Testastretta II found on the Multistrada but with a massive exhaust system that boost power over the Strada by 12 horsepower.
