2012 Ducati Diavel AMG Special Edition Announced
Tue, 06 Sep 2011The marketing partnership between Ducati and Mercedes’ AMG division continues with a new special edition version of the Diavel. The 2012 Ducati Diavel AMG Special Edition is equipped with AMG’s signature 5-spoke wheels, an AMG-style exhaust with engraved end-caps, an Alcantara-upholstered horizontally ribbed seat and carbon fiber radiator grills with aluminum trim. The AMG special edition model will come in the same matte black color as the Ducati Diavel Carbon it is based on, but with AMG’s “Diamond White Bright” stripe and trellis frame.

Mon, 23 Apr 2012The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick. Pirelli Announces Ducati Panigale Will Use Updated Diablo Supercorsa Tire
Thu, 17 Nov 2011Pirelli recently unveiled the latest version of its Diablo Supercorsa tire. The high-performance tire is designed primarily for racing and performance-oriented street riding. The newest member of the Diablo family was presented during EICMA 2011 at Pirelli’s flagship retail location, PZero Moda store, opened this past September on the famed Corso Venezia in Milan.
