Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. Official: Dovizioso and Ducati Ink Deal

Ducati announced today that it has reached an agreement with MotoGP rider Andrea Dovizioso that will see the 26-year-old Italian racing with Ducati in the 2013-14 seasons. Dovi, as he’s commonly referred to by fans, recently finished in third place at the Indianapolis GP on August 19. The Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team rider currently sits in fourth place in overall standings.

Although UDReplicas Dark Knight motorcycle suit has been available for a while now, a recent 'on-bike' review was posted online for the first time last week.  This capeless crusader thinks that Batman would ride a Ducati 749 Dark (I guess when the Bat Pod is being serviced). Just don't plan on breaking down, the utility belt doesn't have enough room for a mobile.
