Up for sale is a Ducati 250 Monza Project
Posted are many photos to show what comes with this auction. It does not have a title (had to put something in, to list this so I checked off Salvage) There is NO TITLE, just a bill of sale. The frame, tank and other items have a primer paint. The rims are alloy and the spokes shown are not correct for wheel size. The engine has already been reconditioned and a copy of the bill is show. Look at the cost and the date when this was done. From the information I was given the engine was bench tested. I am not interested in shipping as that would be a project in it's self. Local pick up is what I am hoping for. Will include a bill of sale as a machine of this age, there is not title. Please look at photos and ask questions before bidding. Best of Luck! Max Biaggi to Test Ben Spies’ Ducati Desmosedici GP13 MotoGP Racer
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Retired four-time 250cc Grand Prix Champion and two-time World Superbike Champion Max Biaggi will be returning to the track this week to ride a Ducati Desmosedici GP13 at MotoGP test at Italy’s Mugello circuit. Biaggi will be riding in place of Pramac Racing‘s Ben Spies who continues to rehab his shoulder and pectoral muscle injury. With Spies’ on-going injury problems and a star like Biaggi on tap, some might hope this change may be a more permanent arrangement but Pramac is careful to state Biaggi will only be testing the Desmosedici with Ducati test team rider Michele Pirro continuing to race in Spies’ absence.

The new flagship for Ducati was uncovered to the public alongside the entire 2012 range in a stylish press conference at the Teatro Dal Verme in Milan, Italy.Ducati President Gabriele del Torchio took the honor of introducing the new machine, but not before announcing that, despite global economic troubles, “2011 has been the most successful year in the history of Ducati.” “Sales of approximately 42,000 motorcycles have generated revenues of €480m (approx. $660m), a 20% increase over the previous year and just reward for our highly innovative products.
2014 Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Touring D|Air Revealed
Tue, 15 Apr 2014Ducati officially presented the D|Air-compatible version of the Mulitstrada 1200, which claims to be the industry’s first motorcycle wirelessly connected to a wearable airbag. Available only for Europe, the Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Touring D|Air combines onboard sensors and Dainese‘s D|Air Street motorcycle jacket airbags into one integrated safety system. A joint project between Ducati and Dainese, the Multistrada 1200 S Touring D|Air uses two triple-axis accelerometers mounted to the fork bottoms and another two mounted under the seat with a D|Air electronic control unit.
