This is a good running widecase 350.
I've got new Pirelli Scorpion tires and they're perfect for sporting around town. The bike starts easy, idles, shifts easy. No smoke from the exhaust, no funny noises. Freshly powdercoated frame, headlight and headlight ears in gloss black. New: Tires: Pirelli Scorpion Trail ll Seat Dellorto PHBH30AS carburetor and factory airhorn. Footpeg rubber Fork gaitors Handlebars Silentium muffler Mounted muffler Battery and rubber battery tie-down Taillight and rubber mount Original parts included The original Dellorto SS129AD need the lower brass nut. You can buy for about $40-some dollars. The original seat has been repadded and is a little too soft and has a couple tears on the side. The chainguard has been chromed and modified to fit a larger sprocket. Everything works but the brake light. It's not wired right- it's not the switch. Speedo cable not hooked up, but I think the speedo works. When I bought the bike, there was no compression release. I put this one on, but it doesn't work when compressed. Maybe it's from a narrowcase, or maybe something is missing. Pay and pick up bike within 10 days of auction close. You can pay the full amount through Paypal ONLY if you pays the fees. Ducati Confirms Checa For 2013, Althea Out
Mon, 29 Oct 2012As the Ducati Factory World Superbike team finalizes its plans for the introduction of the 1199 Panigale into the series, two things are certain: 2011 champion Carlos Checa will be the team’s lead rider, and Team Althea Racing, who have worked with Ducati since 2010, will not be the team’s sponsor. The first bit of news shouldn’t be a surprise, as Checa has been helping the Bologna factory develop the Panigale since mid-year. Checa won the 2011 championship with a masterful display of domination on the 1198, a model many believed to be dated and an underdog before the season began. Details of Checa’s new contract with Ducati have yet to be released other than his role in continuing to develop the 1199 and being the team’s lead rider next year.

Tue, 22 Nov 2011Three-time World Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss and Ducati Superbike Project Director Ernesto Marinelli sat down together to talk about the new Ducati 1199 Panigale in a new video released by the Bologna manufacturer. The video was shot in a split screen format with the two men answering questions about Ducati‘s new superbike. Of course, the video feature the two lauding superlatives on the 1199, but it does offer some amusing moments such as Bayliss’ “Superquadro” face pictured above and the two men doing their impressions of how the Panigale sounds rocketing down the straight of the Mugello circuit.
MotoGP Approves “Factory 2″ Rules
Tue, 18 Mar 2014We’re just days away from the start of the 2014 MotoGP season and one would think it’s a little late for series organizers to make any significant rule changes. At least, one would think that if one were unfamiliar with the political back-and-forths going on between the major manufacturers and MotoGP promoter Dorna. But with the season-opening Qatar round about to begin, the Grand Prix Commission approved new rules establishing a compromise between the new Factory and Open options.
