Scrambler turned cafe racer. Diana head with large valves that was rebuilt by Road and Race, Australia. New connecting rod with crankshaft rebuilt by Syd's Cycle in Tampa along with a .020 over forged piston. 12 volt electrical system from Electrex World. Takasago rims with Buchanan stainless spokes and Avon Roadracer tires. Have receipts. Fast and fun bike with a nice patina. Has the original SSI carb which runs out pretty well, but if you're looking for an around-town bike a new Mikuni will make it more user friendly, but not as cool. Clear title in hand. Currently registered and insured in Madison, Wisconsin. In-person inspections welcome. Local pick-up, or you arrange shipping. A little polish, paint and seat cover would make this one sweet bike that would attract attention anywhere.

Massimo Tamburini: 1943 – 2014
Mon, 07 Apr 2014Massimo Tamburini, creator of some of the industry’s most iconic motorcycle designs, has succumbed to lung cancer at the age of 70. Tamburini was diagnosed with the disease last November and underwent chemotherapy treatment but passed away April 6. Earning renown for designing motorcycles such as the Ducati 916 and the MV Agusta F4, Tamburini’s name will be forever linked with those two companies, as well as Cagiva and helped found Bimota (Tamburini is the “Ta” in the company’s name.) Wed, 08 Sep 2010Aprilia’s RSV4 Factory has to be one of the most interesting and adrenaline-inducing literbikes around, and that’s just part of why we gave it an Honorable Mention in our Best of 2010 Sportbike category. We recently had opportunity to put on a poor but passing Max Biaggi imitation with one particularly fine example. This RSV comes courtesy of our friend Kaming Ko, who often helps us on test rides.
