Ducati Multistrada description

For anyone seeking a touring bike that sits squarely at the intersection of white-knuckle performance and aggressive curb appeal, look no further.  This like-new 2015 Ducati Multistrada 1200S is an absolute blast to ride, and with customizable riding modes, it will take you anywhere you need to go – by whatever route you choose to take. Whether it’s a paved highway run to the coast, a commute to the city, or a bump filled dirt road to the cabin, the Multistrada 1200S will get you there, and how! With the powerful Testastretta DVT L-Twin cranking out a massive 160 horsepower, a set of Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tires keep you glued to the road as you power through turns, and boast tremendous capability off road as well. With a beautiful Iceberg White paintjob, black accents, and an attention grabbing stance, this is THE motorcycle to buy for fantastic all-around performance. Rated highly by every publication it was featured in, the Multistrada 1200S was also rated as the #1 Touring Bike by Cycle World for 2015.

This motorcycle is packed with amazing technology that, despite its complexity, is incredibly intuitive and user friendly when paired with the full color digital display. A rider can easily program the bike for optimal performance for a given terrain, passenger and luggage weight, and desired performance parameters for riding style. With four pre-programmed riding modes, a rider may select between Sport mode with Track performance optimal settings, Touring mode which offers Full road performance optimal settings, Urban mode which offers Core performance optimal settings and limits top horsepower and torque for a more controlled ride in busy traffic, and Enduro mode, which optimizes settings for unpaved and uneven terrains. Additionally, the electronically controlled suspension is adjusted for each mode, with the Sport and Enduro modes offering a higher ground clearance while the Touring and Urban modes offer a more comfortable ride height for placing boots on the pavement at stops. Additionally, this motorcycle features keyless ignition, a vented windscreen, heated grips, and locking saddlebags for rider convenience and comfort.

MotoGP to Hold Official Test in Argentina; South American Nation Returning to Calendar for 2014

Thu, 11 Apr 2013

Dorna Sports announced there will be a MotoGP test at Argentina’s Circuito Internacional Termas de Rio Hondo in July to allow teams to prepare for the track’s expected addition to the 2014 MotoGP calendar. Argentina was actually supposed to join the MotoGP tour this season, but the round was scrapped because of a dispute between the country and Spain after the Argentine government seized control of a Repsol subsidiary. Repsol is, of course, a prominent sponsor of several teams including Honda‘s factory team.
