2013 Ducati Multistrada 1200S PP, The Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Touring is equipped with anything it needs to be a perfect tourer. The bike features the innovative DSS (Ducati Skyhook Suspension) active suspension system and comes with different equipment depending on specific usage. There are three configurations available: S Touring, S Pikes Peak and S Granturismo. The bike also offers the possibility to select from a choice of four pre-set Riding Modes programmed to change the engine s performance according to your needs. These modifications are made using a series of innovative technologies such as the electronic Ride-by-Wire (RbW) system and Ducati s Traction Control system (DTC) which uses eight levels of system interaction to enhance control by reducing wheel-spin. The Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Touring is propelled by an L-Twin cylinder, 4 valve per cylinder, Desmodromic, Dual Spark, liquid cooled engine with a displacement of 1198.4cc and maximum power output of 150 hp.

Report: Ducati Sold to Audi for US$1.13 Billion

Reuters is reporting Audi has reached a deal with Investindustrial to acquire Ducati for a price of 860 million euros (US$1.13 billion). Citing two unnamed sources familiar with the deal, Reuters reports the purchase price includes Ducati‘s debts, estimated by one of those sources at below 200 million euros (US$262.6 million). As previously reported, the deal will be officially announced April 18, ahead of the annual shareholders meeting for Audi’s parent company, the Volkswagen Group.

Took Rieju’s little sports 50 (£2499) to Whilton Mill kart track near Daventry the other day. Didn’t even need the ramp to load it in – such are the delights of 50cc bikes. Got my resident stunt monkey to test it out round the track but things were a bit hampered by a stubborn gear selection process.

DUCATI MOTOGP men Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden took to the slopes today, at the opening of the 2010 Wrooom event at Madonna di Campiglio’s in Italy's Dolomite region.The annual event celebrates Italy's upcoming motorsport calendar; press conferences with the two Ducati Marlboro Team riders, Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden feature tomorrow, while the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro F1 team will conclude proceedings on Friday.Sadly, there are no 'You've Been Framed' moments. Not one of the Ducati duo goes arse-over-tit in the snow.
