Ducati Multistrada description

2010 DUCATI Multistrada 1200S Touring, This 2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200S Touring has it all! Selectable power modes, electronically adjusted suspension and hard luggage plus this one includes a tail bag and a tinted windshield. Along with removable hard side cases to haul your stuff on that long ride! In addition it has ABS and DTC (Dynamic Traction Control). The Mulitstrada 1200 is sometimes called '4-bikes-in-one' - it's an everyday urban rider, a great-handling touring machine, a capable adventure bike and a sport bike that you can ride all day at the max - all this capability is available at the touch of a button! More than just a functional workhorse, the Multistrada shows it's Italian heritage with beautiful lines and distinctive Ducati styling. While the Testastretta '11 degree' engine keeps Ducati's racing heritage immediately available to provide excitement on track day, the comfortable riding position, sophisticated electronically adjustable suspension, selectable power levels and available luggage system make it an accessible, easy-to-enjoy motorcycle for the rider who wants more than 'just' a track bike. Insider Stories From The Ducati Museum

Fri, 22 Jul 2022

Ducati folklore as told by the man who knows them best. As a general rule, I tend to listen to museum curators once they start talking. Having someone at your disposal who is so deeply vested, and intimately knowledgeable, in the subject matter is a treasure worth hanging on to.

Tough battles at Brands in the 848 Challenge

Mon, 08 Aug 2011

The unique prospect of racing on both the Indy and GP circuits at Brands Hatch meant that Round 5 of the Rapid Solicitors Ducati 848 Challenge was very much a tale of two halves. Having already raced the Indy circuit earlier in the season, the first part of the weekend was going to be reminiscent of previous rounds, while the switch to the GP circuit would favour those few who had previous race experience on the longer track. A full schedule on the opening day of the round saw Mike Edwards (MSKWorks.com) top the qualifying table to claim his first pole position of the season with a storming 48.86 sec lap, despite a low-side reminder of how slippery Druids can be in early morning free practice.
