     Up for sale is a 2009 Ducati Multistrada 1100 S motorcycle. We are a multi-line motorcycle dealership, selling new BMW, Honda, Suzuki, and Kawasaki motorcycles in addition to a few other brands. This Ducati motorcycle was recently acquired in trade by our dealership. Our service department has performed an overall inspection & safety check on this motorcycle, and everything is in good working condition.

     This Multistrada 1100 S belonged to an older local client who has owned 4 Ducati motorcycles over the years. He purchased it back in 2014 with only 14k miles at the time. He had the last major maintenance, or the 15k service done at the Ducati dealership, which included new spark plugs, check valve clearance, new belts & tension, new brake fluids, and new air filter. This motorcycle is basically all OEM stock, with the only upgrades being Carbon Fiber Termignoni Exhaust Pipes, and Sargent Seats.

     This Ducati Multistrada 1100 S has just over 19,157 miles and we hold a clean Massachusetts Title for this bike. This Ducati 2 cylinder engine starts easy, runs strong, transmission shifts through all the gears smoothly, so this motorcycle should bring the next owner many thousands of worry free miles. 2012 Ducati Multistrada 1200 – Ducati’s Top Selling Model Returns

For a company best known for its sportbikes, it may surprise some to learn Ducati’s hottest selling model is its Multistrada 1200. But it’s true: the Multistrada 1200 family, consisting of the base version, the 1200S Sport, 1200S Sport Pikes Peak Special Edition and the 1200S Touring is topping Ducati’s sales charts. It makes sense then for the Ducati Multistrada 1200 to return relatively unchanged for 2012, though it appears the Pikes Peak edition is the only version of the Multistrada to come in the 1200S Sport trim.

Ducati Temporarily Suspends Production after Second Earthquake

Ducati has halted production in its factory in Bologna, Italy after the region was struck by a 5.8-magnitude earthquake this morning. The earthquake comes nine days after a 6.0-magnitude earthquake in the same area in northern Italy, killing seven people. Though the recent earthquake was lower in magnitude, it has already claimed a higher death toll with at least 15 people already confirmed dead.

On June 30, Lightning Electric Motorcycles made history when its rider, current motorcycle record holder Carlin Dunne, completed the famous Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 10:00.964, beating all other motorcycles — gas or electric, 82 in total — to the 14,000-foot summit. This marks the first time in a major motorsport event an electric motorcycle has beaten its gas counterparts. In fact, Dunne’s time is still within the top 10 when you include the four-wheel competitors as well.
