User-friendliness is enhanced by a riding position 20 millimeter lower and a weight of 29 pounds (13 kilograms) lighter than on the 1000 cc versions, thus allowing more riders to feel secure in all situations. Developed on the winding mountain roads and city streets of Italy, the Multistrada is, for many motorcycling aficionados, a dream come true: a high performance sport bike that doesn’t compromise comfort, versatility or practicality. The Ducati Multistrada is the ideal motorcycle, every day, on every road. The Multistrada 620 is powered by an air-cooled two-valve 618 cc Desmodue L-twin engine. Easy to maintain, with low fuel consumption, its smooth power delivery gives exceptional riding enjoyment. Thanks to minimal clutch lever squeeze effort and the downshift slipper function, the APTC clutch makes riding in traffic both enjoyable and safe.

This was the sorry looking JHP Ducati after Darren Fry crashed it in qualifying on Sunday before the first race of the championship. Fry broke his coccyx in the crash but, fortunately for Fry, it took around 10 people just over 3 hours to get the bike ready to race, as can be seen in the picture below. Hats off to Darren Fry for racing the bike over the rest of the weekend.
