Ducati Multistrada tech info
Ducati Multistrada description
If you've ever wanted to experience the joys of a Ducati and its marvelous engine and engine note, here's your opportunity at a low cost of entry into this renowned world of Italian sport bike handling with all day comfort. Also includes all three original Ducati issued panniers to allow you to enjoy that all day comfort on extended trips. Purchase History: Purchased in April of 2013 with 16, 151 miles. At the time, the dealer replaced chain and all fluids. Maintenance / Service History: In September of 2013, I replaced front and rear tires with Michelin Pilot Road 3.
Most recent service at Erico Motorsports in Denver in August of 2014 at 17,311--timing drive toothed belts replaced, valves adjusted, air filter, and spark plugs. They reported that front tire is at 90% life left, rear tire at 85% life left, front brakes at 90% life left, and rear brakes at 75%. Next scheduled maintenance per Ducati is at 24,000 miles. Accessories: Termigoni exhaust, Sargent seat, Alaska Sheepskin Seat Pad and Barkbusters Hand Protectors, pigtail for battery charger and heated clothing. Condition: Wear typical for an 11 year old bike. I've added one photo to show a typical blemish on the bike. I can send others to interested parties. The seat does have a tear where it meets the tank. I haven't repaired it since it doesn't impact use of seat and the sheepskin pad covers it and provides additional comfort. Mechanically excellent. No leaks, drips, or other areas of concern. Book Values: KBB value = $4,680 for excellent condition. NADA value = $4,590 Of note: The instrument display currently shows a wrench icon to indicate that service is due. That is not the case. I took the bike in before the 18,000 interval. Once the bike's mileage reached the recommended interval that icon appeared as reminder to get the service done. It was already completed. A dealer can clear that icon, but I live one and half hours from the dealer, the icon doesn't effect the performance of the bike, and I'm simply not riding the bike much at all. If it is a concern to a bidder, please inform me and I will have it cleared. I have receipts to document all the work that was done on the bike in my ownership. I also have all the keys, the code car, the black key, the red key and multiple sets of keys for the panniers. All manuals also included. This is turnkey bike at a great price. |

How do 1000s compare to the 800s
Wed, 09 Nov 2011Now MotoGP has completed its transformation from 800 to 1000cc, how do the lap times between the different bikes compare using Valencia and the post-season test as a benchmark.. Yesterday, Dani Pedrosa was the quickest 1000 on his Honda RC213V setting a time of 1:32.186. To find the quickest time from the outgoing 800 era you have to look at his current Repsol Honda team-mate, Casey Stoner, but it wasn't set on a Honda.
