Please see the High Resolution Photographs for visual condition and Title. This motorcycle is 40 Years old. It has strong compression, it starts and runs rides as expected. The motorcycle does not leak, The transmission shifts well, clutch works well. The brakes function as expected. It does not smoke or make any unusual sounds.
It without question, holds the trump card of Cafe Racer cool. The Italians definitely had their factory street racer visual and functional designs locked down (factory clip-ons, hump-back seat.) A very beautiful design, the handling developed in the twisting mountain roads of Bologna, Italy, also Ducati's home base. The 3 1/2 Sport makes for exciting acceleration, 37 Horse Power @ 8500 RPM. It's a 40 year old vintage bike, maintained but unrestored. The paint is appropriate for a motorcycle this age, it has a few flaws, but presents honestly and attractively. The lucky new owner should plan on replacing the tires prior to daily use as these have become a bit hard over the years. Also, the seat cover is checking and should probably be replaced. The side stand went missing prior to my ownership. I have always used the center stand. Please check back during the auction as I will post video soon of it running. I have other horses in the stable, and am thinning the herd, so check my other auctions for uncommon German and Italian motorcycles. I have been riding and collecting interesting motorcycles since 1987. Time changes everything, and I am finally ready to let someone else enjoy owning some of them. Wed, 19 Jun 2013Carlin Dunne and Lightning electric motorcycles are making a strong case for e-bike supremacy at the 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. During the last five days of practice at the mountain, Dunne set the fastest times. With the course split into two halves, Dunne recorded a 4:34.03 on the bottom section, 14 seconds quicker than the nearest competitor, Greg Chicoine, on a 450cc Supermoto.

In honor of this event, the company is sending seven travelers on a trip around the world on the Multistrada 1200 Enduro. They will have to travel a total of 30,000km, visiting Europe, Russia, Mongolia, China, Japan and the United States, passing the baton to each other like an Olympic torch.
Effenbert Liberty Promotes McCormick to WSBK Team After Talks With Bayliss Fall Through
Wed, 14 Mar 2012Another Troy Bayliss comeback attempt has fallen through. The Effenbert Liberty Racing Team announced it was in discussions with Bayliss over entering a couple of World Superbike rounds this season as a wild card entry. Those discussions did not develop into a return for the three-time WSBK champion; instead the team will promote rider Brett McCormick to the now four-member Effenbert Liberty WSBK team.
