Ducati Monster description
This is 1 beautiful bike, with lots of upgrades including Fast by Ferracci carbon exhaust, Sargent premium seat, Scott steering damper, K&N air and oil filters, and various other carbon upgrades. Over $1500 in upgrades. Terrific condition. Only 9700mis on it. The "i.e." indicates fuel-injection. 2001 and 2002 Monsters are, in my opinion, the best of both worlds - new enough to be fuel injected, but old enough that they're not overly computerized. No magical red key, and no need for expensive Ducati diagnostic equipment to modify the engine.Unfortunately I just don't ride it enough to justify keeping it. Audi Officially Announces Ducati Purchase
Wed, 18 Apr 2012Audi has officially announced it has acquired Ducati Motor Holding from Investindustrial. Terms of the deal were not announced, though they should be made available April 19 at the annual stockholders meeting for Audi’s parent company, the Volkswagen Group. Previous reports have the price pegged at 860 million euros (US$1.1 billion).
