Hayden and Rossi Back on Track Following Surgeries

Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden returned to the track to test their Ducati Desmosedici GP12 racebikes mere weeks after both undergoing surgery. Rossi had a rod removed from his right leg, a remnant from the 2010 crash that broke his tibia. Hayden meanwhile is still recovering from surgery to repair a shoulder injured in a training crash.

This is in addition to the impressive collection of Harley-Davidsons from the Pierce collection headlining the auction. Comprised of Italian thoroughbreds, the Silverman collection is one of the most renowned in the world and is based largely around competition models. For instance, featured is a 1973 750SS Imola Short Stroke.

The Volkswagen Group-Ducati relationship has finally birth its first child, with the German manufacturer revealing the XL Sport concept car powered by the 1199 Superleggera‘s V-Twin engine at the Paris Motor Show.
