2011 Ducati Diavel Carbon World Launch First Impressions

Thu, 10 Feb 2011

Despite the Diavel Carbon weighing in at 207 kg (456 pounds) dry and featuring bulkier dimensions than any other Ducati it still handles very well. This is down to true Ducati know-how where the 162hp 1200cc L-twin and trellis frame are based on the 1198 superbike developments. 'CorsaCaffe' is available with or without caffeine.“Even if you are not a coffee drinker, you may want to obtain the coffee as a centerpiece," says Sharma. "Packaging like CorsaCaffe’s has never been seen before.”Sharma also sells a Ducati-inspired wine, CorsaVino, which uses the same style branding.

Mere days after promoting racer Brett McCormick to its World Superbike team, Effenbert-Liberty Racing has announced its withdrawal from the Superstock 1000 Cup. Effenbert-Liberty was one of the higher-profile teams that were planning to compete in the Superstock 1000 Cup on the Ducati 1199 Panigale. Until this week, the team had planned to field McCormick and Federico Sandi in the Superstock series alongside its three-man WSBK team of Sylvain Guintoli, Jakub Smrz and Maxime Berger on the Ducati 1198.
