Ducati Monster description

The Diesel style team, under the guidance of Diesel founder Renzo Rosso, together with Ducati's design center, have brought a new 'urban military chic' interpretation to the iconic naked motorcycle. Creative, innovative, fun, irreverent, sexy and brave are the words to best describe the new Monster Diesel. The collaboration between Diesel's founder, Renzo Rosso, and the Ducati design center gives birth to the numbered Monster Diesel version (technically based on the 1100 EVO).

2011 Isle of Man TT Recap

Fri, 10 Jun 2011

The Isle of Man TT usually provides a lot of drama, and this year’s event was no different. John McGuinness, second on the all-time TT wins list, added two more wins to his resume to win the Joey Dunlop Trophy while MotoCzysz once again fell just short of taking the bounty for being the first electric motorcycle team to record a 100 mph lap on the Mountain Course. The 2011 Isle of Man TT also had its share of tragedy with three racing fatalities.

The North East,Prescott and fast laps with Chris Walker at Mallory

Thu, 26 Apr 2012

A big thanks to all at Newcastle Motorcycles for lending me a Honda CB1000F on Saturday to do nothing other than join mates for a blast round some fantastic roads in the North East. The buddies in question were Alan Smith (Bradley’s dad) and two stroke addict and race fan Chris Berriman. We headed east over the moors from the ‘Toon’ heading towards Barnard Castle then back through Consett before finishing up at the picturesque Tynemouth.

Behind the scenes in Qatar

Sat, 19 Mar 2011

Just because you have the name Jorge Lorenzo on your screen and you've won a world championship doesn't mean you'll get an easy time at scrutineering. In Qatar the technical inspection staff made the factory Yamaha mechanics remove bodywork and unbolt some electrical components in order to get a better look at the guts of the 2011 M1. Everything was in order of course but what a great opportunity for the scrutineers to exercise their power and have a poke around the most high tech Yamaha on the planet.
