2012, Ducati, 1100 EVO, ABS, Monster, This beautiful one of a kind Ducati Monster was custom painted by Jody Matsler The handlebars, handlebar clamps, triple trees, headlight bezel, and rear shock spring were powder coated black and the exhaust tubes were ceramic coated satin black Other modifications include: Competition Werks rear fender eliminator, Competition Werks stainless steel Slip-On baffle, BMC high flow air filter, complete computer ECU remapping, Lightweight 14 tooth front sprocket, Rizoma weighted handlebar ends, Rizoma bar end mirrors, Rizoma clutch, front brake and rear brake fluid reservoirs. This was a winter project, 1475 miles, and is still covered under the full factory warranty. This Monster looks, sounds, and performs better than anything new, off the showroom floor. 848 Challenge: Silverstone race results
Mon, 26 Sep 2011Race 1: Race 1 produced another memorable 848 Challenge race, with Mike Edwards (MSKworks.com) in determined mood to record his first race victory of the season. But Kenny Gilbertson (AOR/Boast Plumbing), Leon Morris, and Robbie Brown (Ducati Manchester) were to push him all the way, with the front four riders each having held the lead by the half way point. Further back Mark Cheetham (Shorrocks Motorcycles) was trading places with ex-Champion Darren Fry (JHP/Buildbase Ducati) with Aaron Brown (Ladybirds Ducati) and Ricky Holden (Holden Racing) less that a second apart.

Chip Yates and his SWIGZ.com electric superbike completed a two-day test this past weekend to prepare for the June 26 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The June 4-5 test gave teams the chance to practice climbing the 14,110-ft mountain near Colorado Springs.
Hayden and Rossi Back on Track Following Surgeries
Tue, 28 Feb 2012Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden returned to the track to test their Ducati Desmosedici GP12 racebikes mere weeks after both undergoing surgery. Rossi had a rod removed from his right leg, a remnant from the 2010 crash that broke his tibia. Hayden meanwhile is still recovering from surgery to repair a shoulder injured in a training crash.
