Ducati Monster tech info
Ducati Monster description
You are looking at 2012 Ducati Monster 696. Purchased by my wife new and road less than 1,000 miles since. A few things I need to point out. A) Bike has a Ducati lower seat, original goes with the bike also. B) LED lights (with remote) were added last year. C) Right after she purchase the bike it did fall over in our driveway. Mirror and clutch peddle were damaged; both were replaced with new by Ducati of Indianapolis, IN. Last year the battery was replaced by the dealer and sense then the bike has been on a battery tender and covered in my garage. Runs great. Also include in this auction is a men's larg grey Scorpion full face helmet and a women's small white full face helmet. Both come with helmet bag as well. Thank you for looking and good luck bidding. |

Lightning Electric Superbike Beats All Motorcycles At Pikes Peak
Fri, 05 Jul 2013On June 30, Lightning Electric Motorcycles made history when its rider, current motorcycle record holder Carlin Dunne, completed the famous Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 10:00.964, beating all other motorcycles — gas or electric, 82 in total — to the 14,000-foot summit. This marks the first time in a major motorsport event an electric motorcycle has beaten its gas counterparts. In fact, Dunne’s time is still within the top 10 when you include the four-wheel competitors as well.
Would you pay £50,000 for this?
Fri, 14 Aug 2009YOU'RE LOOKING at possibly the last unused Ducati Supermono racer in existence, which is up for sale on eBay right now. The bike's the 14th Supermono to roll off Ducati's production line and was manufactured in 1995, making this model one of just 25 of the 572cc versions produced. In its day the Supermono was one of the most desirable bikes around. Weighing just 269lbs and producing in excess of 81hp, the race-ready single is renowned for its surprising turn of speed and pin-sharp cornering ability. The starting price?
Ducati Diavel gets more Öhlins treatment
Mon, 09 Jan 2012Here's a look at some tasty black Öhlins forks for the Ducati Diavel. This is what Öhlins have to say about them: We've developed a set of performance forks for the awesome Ducati Diavel to give increased handling capabilities to this already unique ‘muscle bike’.The FGRT 301 ‘Road and Track’ forks have been especially designed with black outer tubes and gold fork sliders to retain the mean and moody look of this 160bhp monster machine, something that reflects the front suspension on the Ducati MotoGP machines.Featuring 48mm forks containing Öhlins NIX 30mm cartridge technology, the new forks offer improved road manners and high performance capabilities for when the pace increases. With adjustment of compression and rebound split between the two fork legs, the new forks offer unrivalled control and feel whatever the conditions. The forks follow the successful introduction of the Ohlins rear shock for the Diavel and it is expected many customers will combine the two suspension systems for the ultimate in comfort and handling for their machine.Öhlins has a fantastic relationship with Ducati with models such as the Multistrada 1200S and the eagerly awaited 1199S Panigale utilising electronically adjusting Öhlins suspension systems. The Öhlins FGRT 301 Road and Track forks are available now and are priced at £2597.90 + VAT.
