2012 Ducati Monster 1100 EVO, This is used Ducati Monster 1100evo ABS with 2,400 miles. The bike is in excellent condition and has only been serviced by BMW/Ducati of Charlotte, NC. The bike was purchased new in October 2011 and I bought a four year extended warranty. The front clutch and brake reservoirs were upgraded with Rizoma black aluminum reservoirs. Former World Champion Franco Uncini Named Grand Prix Safety Officer

The International Motorcycling Federation has named Franco Uncini the FIM Grand Prix Safety Officer and circuit inspector. The 1982 500cc Grand Prix World Champion (pictured on the left above) takes over for the retired Claude Danis (right in the photo) to oversee safety in MotoGP. The now 58-year-old Uncini won the 1982 World Championship for Roberto Gallina‘s factory-backed Suzuki.

Ever since Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman rode their BMW’s around the world it seems anyone with a ‘GS’ has an open ticket to ride around the world and then write about it. And fair enough, if I could afford the bike and the trip then I’d be gone as well. Obviously, BMW reaped the rewards when Ewan and Charlie showcased what their GS could really do, changing BMW’s image from solid but stuffy, to solid and cool overnight.
