Ducati Monster description
Thanks for checking out my fantastic 2008 Ducati TriColor S4RS #386 of 400 ever made!
Everywhere I go this bike turns heads and the sound of the Termignoni exhaust,
unlike any other sound you have ever heard, like a formula one race bike, a sound only repeated by other Ducatis. This bike runs perfectly. I am the second owner and have barely ridden this bike. The only modifications are the 1/2 Termignoni exhaust, the shorty levers, the clutch cover, the tail chop and the gold pressure plate. These mods were done before I purchased this bike. I have only owned it for 7 months. I am not using this bike like I thought I would and with the low miles, I decided not to put any more on. The timing belts and oil change were done at the local Ducati dealer PJ's Triumph Ducati. This work was less than 6 months ago and under 500 miles ago.The condition is excellent with only the minor wear. Was dropped and the side cover is cracked. Actual miles is 5869. Very, very low. The tires have plenty of tread but are slightly dry. New Mexico is a very dry climate. The clutch works fine in my opinion but I have been told the basket will need replacing. I have an original basket, I believe included in some extra parts (pictured). The tank has a small scratch (pictured). Also rear brake is weak, this is common on this line of monsters. I have all the keys and code key. I have a clear NM title in my name. Please ask any questions and feel free to call between 8am-7pm MST. Lorenzo 505-934-0969. I'm willing to take an offer but I do have a minimum set. I will personally deliver this anywhere if Buy it Now for the full price is used. Please do not use this option if you cannot follow through with the purchase. No trades and I am not a financier. Please have your funds in order if you would like to purchase this incredible machine. This bike is owned outright by me, free and clear title. I can assist with shipping roughly $450.00-$650.00 continental US through national freight company. Thanks |

Should this Ducati Video be Rated R?
Wed, 13 May 2009I’m feeling a little uncomfortable after watching Ducati’s recently posted “Colour Therapy” video. Are you prepared to watch a Ducati technician strip a Ducati Monster of it’s plastic to reveal it’s true nakedness? Cover your eyes if you are under 18. Ducati posted this video on YouTube to promote their “Colour Therapy”. “Colour Therapy” is there way of customizing the colour of your Ducati Monster motorcycle with an easily interchangeable kit that is available at Ducati dealerships. I have personally picked out a new colour for the Ducati that I don’t own. Hit the jump to see how a Ducati technician strips a Ducati Monster to “re-dress” it with some new colours.
MotoGP to Hold Official Test in Argentina; South American Nation Returning to Calendar for 2014
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Dorna Sports announced there will be a MotoGP test at Argentina’s Circuito Internacional Termas de Rio Hondo in July to allow teams to prepare for the track’s expected addition to the 2014 MotoGP calendar. Argentina was actually supposed to join the MotoGP tour this season, but the round was scrapped because of a dispute between the country and Spain after the Argentine government seized control of a Repsol subsidiary. Repsol is, of course, a prominent sponsor of several teams including Honda‘s factory team.
848 Challenge: Silverstone race results
Mon, 26 Sep 2011Race 1: Race 1 produced another memorable 848 Challenge race, with Mike Edwards (MSKworks.com) in determined mood to record his first race victory of the season. But Kenny Gilbertson (AOR/Boast Plumbing), Leon Morris, and Robbie Brown (Ducati Manchester) were to push him all the way, with the front four riders each having held the lead by the half way point. Further back Mark Cheetham (Shorrocks Motorcycles) was trading places with ex-Champion Darren Fry (JHP/Buildbase Ducati) with Aaron Brown (Ladybirds Ducati) and Ricky Holden (Holden Racing) less that a second apart.
